Michael & Jessica
We know Jessica from her aunt's wedding 6 years ago, which Fauquier Fotos also photographed. It was such an honor recently to photograph and provide video for Jessica & Michael's wedding at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church in Woodbridge. It is a beautiful church and it made a picturesqe setting for the couple to exhange their vows. Jessica's mother is originally from Hawaii, and Jessica dressed somewhat in Hawaiian tradition, with an extravagant flower headdress, and long, flowing gown.
Their one year old daughter, Lilo, served as flower girl. What a cutie pie!
The Crepe Myrtles around the church sanctuary were in full bloom and were almost the same colors as the wedding party and bouquets! The church grounds made it easy to find a beautiful setting for Michael & Jessica's bride & groom portraits.
The ceremony was followed by a lively reception at the Knights of Columbus Hall, also in Woodbridge. It began with Michael and Jessica being received through a wedding party arch, which transitioned into a first dance for the new couple. The hall featured a well-stocked candy bar, a photo booth, and beautiful and creative decorations!
Michael, Jessica & Lilo will be residing in the Bahamas, for the next two years, as Michael has been accepted to Chef School there. We wish them many blessings and the very best life has to offer!

Fox Chase Reception, Manassas, VA
Varun & Kerri didn't let a little May shower spoil the mood on their special day! Kerri's bridesmaids, donning cheery orange sherbert dresses, helped Kerri into her bridal gown at the Weston Hotel. Gail, at Reston Florist provided some gorgeous bouquets, featuring splashes of orange roses. Following Indian tradition, Kerri and some of the girls had henna applied to their hands, ankles and feet, prior to the wedding day. Debbie was able to tag along in the white stretch limo to photograph the girls' excitement as they popped open some champagne for a pre-celebratory toast. As they exchanged their vows at St. Anne's Episcopal Church in Reston, thankfully the rain waited until after the ceremony to begin coming down. It held off just long enough to take some breathtaking post-ceremony portraits of Varun & Kerri in the beautiful church garden. Then the limo delivered the wedding party to Fox Chase Event Center, in Manassas, for a rock-star entrance into the ballroom! Delicious Indian food was the dinner fare, provided by R&R Catering. The DJ, Hawk, provided the entertainment that kept the dance floor full the whole night. We wish the best to Mr. & Mrs. Varun Lal! Thanks for allowing Fauquier Fotos to document your special day!
Red Fox Inn, Middleburg, Northern VA Wedding
Alex & Amanda had the most picturesque setting for their outdoor garden ceremony, at the Red Fox Inn, in Middleburg, VA! Amanda's son, Max, helped Amanda into her dress in the honeymoon suite overlooking the restaurant's patio. Their room featured an antique four-poster bed, and thanks to the afternoon sunlight streaming through the windows, it made a wonderful setting for portraits! I even had the fun of photographing Amanda & Max rolling around on the bed, enjoying a mom & son ticklefest! The cermony was beautiful, and featured the groom, Alex, and best man in kilt, with son, Max presenting the rings. After some group portraits and some romantic images of Alex & Amanda toasting champagne in the garden, their walk from the courtyard to the restaurant across the street, provided some lovely bride & groom portraits in the sweet light of sunset. Alex & Amanda are a very sweet couple, and the three of them make a handsome family. We wish them the very best in their new beginning together!
Matt & Justine's Warrenton Wedding
Wayne & Debbie Jones are considered part of the Asaro family, after photographing three weddings for them over the years! We photographed Justine's sister's wedding in 2010, her cousin, Rory Palese's wedding in 2012, and now, Justine's wedding in May. We love the family--they are typical New Yorkers, fun, passionate and emotional, not afraid to express tears of joy at such momentous occasions. Justine and her girls were such a kick, while getting Justine ready for her big day. Justine & Matt were game for any suggestions, including donning water wings, goggles and beach rings, whi for a photo, jumping into the pool at the Warrenton Moose Lodge! We were so pleased to be able to document their special day of celebration, and we know they have a wonderful future ahead of them.
Colt & Sarah's Wedding, Evergreen Country Club
Wayne & I were so pleased to be a part of Sarah & Colt's celebration, April 13th, at the beautiful Evergreen Country Club. It was a beautiful spring day for an outdoor ceremony in the stone-enclosed courtyard, and purple was the color of the day! Mike Weise, of One & Done Events provided the ceremony music, as well as the reception festivity music selections. Marilyn, of Unique Cakes, provided a detailed cake, cascaded with purple flowers and frosting ruffles. Flowers were provided by Flower Gallery of Manassas, and the bouquets were breathtaking, as always. The wedding party was a fun group, and some of them had us in stitches all day! Little Trevor, insisted he was not the "ring bearer", but the "Ring Bear", so Sarah had him carry a teddy bear with a purple bow. They left to a sparkler fairwell. We wish the best for Colt & Sarah, Mr. & Mrs. Freeman, they are a great couple, and we thoroughly enjoyed working with them!
Doug & Christine's Wedding at Bristow
Debbie & Wayne Jones, of Fauquier Fotos were greeted with a beautiful spring day while photographing an outdoor wedding ceremony at Bristow Manor Golf Club, in Haymarket, VA, Easter Weekend. The colors of the day were black, white and a touch of ruby red. (With a few blue and pink bunny ears thrown in for good measure!) The honorary flower girl and ring bearer being pulled in the wagon down the aisle almost stole the show. But every eye soon turned to the breathtakingly beautiful Christine, as she walked down the grassy aisle to greet her groom, Doug.
Bristow is such a beautiful location for a wedding and a reception--just look in any direction for a fantastic photo op! The staff is so friendly and helpful--they took wonderful care of all the guests, and vendors, including Wayne & I, eagerly seeing to every need.
Doug & Christine were the perfect couple and were so photogenic--we couldn't take a bad image of them. We wish them the best life has to offer--they deserve it!
